Chade has a wonderful smile and is very tickelish. We were having a good time with Chade on a Saturday morning. Sorry for the background noise... we had a radio program going.

Intro Chade

Without much advanced notice, God has blessed our family to bring a special little man into our home. Meet Chade (pronounced like "Shade" as in a cool, refreshing shadow out of the intense heat). He's about 7 months old. He's got a contented and friendly disposition. He brightens up the room with his toothless grins... which are soon to become bright smiles with teeth, because Chade is teething.

We've known Chade's mom, Mallorie for almost a year. She is a bright young lady who is eager to take her life a good direction and to make sure Chade is in a good home where he can thrive. We were blown away when she called us and asked us if we would consider adopting Chade. This was certainly unexpected timing, and we're eager to see how the Lord will work this out.

We have had Chade with us while his current foster care provider takes a week of well earned vacation. He'll stay with us for the remainder of the week, then return to his current foster care provider until the end of this month. But at the end of this month, he'll be moving back in with us, hopefully to stay, but we're waiting on the Lord together to see He works everything out. We've been through too much to "count our chickens before they hatch". Meanwhile, we're enjoying taking care of this little rooster!
